Press Release
Daycon Products choses Cforia Software for Jan/San Industry Accounts Receivable
Automation; Go-live in less than two weeks
Westlake Village, CA - March 31, 2009
Cforia announces a new real-time integration to Infor ERP A+ for Distribution with Daycon Products. Delivery,
deployment and training were completed for collection and deductions staff of six in less than two weeks resulting in
increased cash flow from accounts receivable.
Per Dave Wallace, CFO of Daycon Products Company: “I am absolutely amazed that MC2 worked so well out-of-the
box, even with the first ever integration to Infor A+. I was ready for a whole lot of debugging. But, the Cforia lab
answered every one of my requests even adding our sales figures, transaction rates and contract numbers to “At-A-
Glance”. We are going live in under two weeks!”
This past year Daycon worked hard to bring AR to industry standard (39 DSO), but management wanted to do better
with an eye on bad debt. Numerous manual methods had been used including Outlook Calendars, Post-It Notes,
aging reports and Excel spreadsheets to manage a Collections Agent’s day. Data retrieval that took 5-6 keystrokes
in A+ can now be viewed entirely on one MC2 “Snap-Shot” screen for full customer visibility. Dave Wallace says that
Cforia MC2 productivity tools will force them to be more disciplined and he should be able to bring down DSO by
several additional days. Daycon can now implement company policies and procedures using the MC2 Rules Engine,
Promise-to-Pay and Tickler lists by analyst.
Dave Wallace will soon move to Phase II with the Web Portal and integration to their existing Daycon imaging
system. Customers and Salesmen will be able to see their statements, invoice & payment details and pull up Proof of
Delivery anytime day or night increasing customer satisfaction and reducing internal workload.
About Cforia Software: Cforia was founded in 2001 by technology veterans with extensive experience in ERP
applications like SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft and JD Edwards. One area that ERP applications fail to optimize is the
workflows around accounts receivable. Cash is king and ERP providers were forcing AR departments to use off-
platform tools to manage their processes. After the technology rush of Y2K, they realized that companies were going
to focus on point solutions that built on their existing technology investments and maximized return on investment.
Their focus was to deliver an application suite that optimized AR performance and to do so in a practical, accessible
and efficient way. Too many third-party software providers forced their customers to work around their technology
requirements and not the other way around. See Cforia accounts receivable automation and dso reduction for
more information. Recent announcements include credit score and credit report integration.
